I’m Canadian, I’m not a political major, I’m not #woke, I’m not a person who keeps their eyes keenly aware of all political happens in America. So what the hell am I writing this post? I’m a person (like most of us) who is bewildered by the craziness happening in the States and as someone who is opinionated and loves educating/informing people I had to write on this. It has literally been a month (Jan 20th) since he was elected and to say that it has been the longest month is an understatement. That rock you’ve been living under has heard of all the scandals from travel bans to Flynn’s firing. We are all aware of what a fuck up this thing has been. If you need a quick summary peep Seth Meyers roasting trump with his CloserLook series. Here is what I’m going to say about this entire colossal disaster…I’m here for the fuckery. Yes I approve of this downfall. I have written about this and this post will be a summary of previous thoughts but more specific. One of the most basic human behaviors is to take things for granted. To be real everyone (including me) took Obama for granted. In this ocean of “fake news”, alt-right, blatant lies spewed from the most powerful president and corrupting worse than a virus ridden PC we collectively look back and realize…Obama ain’t did this shit.
This is exactly what the United States deserves. With constant attacks from conservative media, relentless racial slurs, never ending critique from his own party and orange-haired dummies questioning his citizenship throughout his eight years in the office! I can happily say that the States deserved this! You ever get some amazing chicken and literally can’t stand regular chicken anymore? This is what is happening…the jerk chicken that Obama feed us may have been under cooked but now their is a literal jerk that serves us flavorless chicken sprinkled with bullshit and a side of Russian corruption pie. Eat up bitch. So yes, I’m here for the downfall…y’all ready to scoop a plate?
Side note: Fake news is rampant I’ll write on it soon…
We’ve all seen the video…Twittersphere or otherwise, this trending video of Kourtney Jorge confronting her ex-boyfriend Leonard about his cheating. It was heartbreaking to say the least. If you’re steady living under a rock, peep the video. Now why is this important and why are you reading this? Because shit like this matters. My thoughts on this aren’t controversial but this will build a conversation I want us all to have. One of the deepest human fears is betrayal and this video reveals the ugly face of it. Both of them are in the wrong…I sympathize more with Kourtney but she has her flaws too, I’ll get to that.
Let’s get to some facts, this video is viral because of 3 things. Both of them are very attractive, the raw honesty of Leonard and the overarching concept of cheating. There are parts of this story we won’t know and to be real I don’t care about that. This video is also has high production value. Now let me give you some context, I’m shit at relationships, take this blog with a grain of Saltbae. Facts. Leonard is an asshole but I respect the fact that he was honest. People claim they want honesty but when push comes to shove they can’t handle it! Don’t get it twisted…I understand why people hate Leonard but keep it real if you cheated would you have the balls to tell your significant other? I’ve seen so many people cheat and trust me if you asked 5 of your friends if they have or are cheating 4 of them will say yes (assuming they’re honest friends). Jesus even said “ye who haven’t sin cast the first stone” so get off you’re headass high horse.
The beauty of this video is the story. They meet in unconventional ways, but also the sweetest cheesy way and had a booming romance. They were bestfriends.

A Few days ago I meet up with a great friend (matter fact he was my first friend in high school) and we had a quick yet profound talk about the future. The future is a very abstract thing it’s extremely mysterious too. Me and him are university students who had unconventional paths to post secondary studies and we talked about our post grad future. He was considering college and so was I. We talked about texting each other to hangout cause I never see the guy (he never answers texts) then we had a 2 minute convo about phones. WE HATE THEM. To give y’all some context me and him were born in 1995 meaning the internet was a large part of our growth, but smartphones were not. We talked about how everyone is glued on their phones and literally addicted to these pleasure pallets.I’m going to to coin this term, we are a culture full of Phon-bies brainless idiots consumed by their phones. If you’re reading this post on a bus (ex.
trash OC Transpo) look around you, I promise you that half of the bus is on their phone. People are literally having physiological issues when they’re away from their phones and it pisses me off.
When I’m talking to friends or family I will actively put my phone away because It’s my sign of respect or maybe because I’m a grandpa who actually enjoy organic human conversation, idk i’m a weirdo. But people ain’t built like me, especially in 2017 and to be real I hate it. I hate seeing Phon-bies and the main reason is…I used to be one. Literally would hangout with friends and we’d all have our noses pressed on Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram or iMessage to connect to people while ignoring the ones in front of us. Here’s an everlasting truth I’m not unique, and neither are you so we have to overcome this infection and get healed today. Less Phon-bies, more organic real life conversations. Deadass if I was staring at twitter that day I wouldn’t have noticed the homie and this blog post wouldn’t exist. Here’s your challenge: spend an hour away from your phone every 5 hours. The benefits will be phenomenal. So get off your headass phone and go live life. Point, blank, period.
